About AutoCoder

    Revolutionizing technical interviews for engineers

    Our Story

Founded in 2025 by an engineering graduate who loves creating mobile and webapps, AutoCoder was born from firsthand experience with the broken technical interview system.

After experiencing the disconnect between actual engineering work and coding interview questions, the founder created a solution to help engineers prepare for interviews without wasting time on irrelevant puzzles.

    Our Mission

Your Coding Interview Is a Joke

Hiring great engineers? Stop asking them to invert binary trees on a whiteboard.

The best engineers don't spend their days solving leetcode puzzles. They build scalable systems. They debug complex issues. They communicate ideas clearly.

    Today's scenario

    • • Who studied leetcode the most.
    • • Who has the best short-term memory.
    • • Who can endure the most unnecessary stress.

    A great interview:

    • • How well someone thinks through a problem.
    • • How they approach real-world scenarios.
    • • How they collaborate and communicate under pressure.

AutoCoder exists to bridge this gap—helping engineers showcase their true skills while navigating the reality of today's interview landscape.

    What we actually build

AutoCoder is a Windows desktop application, not a browser extension and not a web app. That decision drives most of the engineering. A detached native window can be marked with the operating system’s display-exclusion attribute, which keeps it out of the frames screen-sharing tools capture; a browser extension cannot do that, and has to inject itself into the page it is helping with. We do not touch the assessment page at all.

The app does three things. It captures a screen region you select with a hotkey and returns a worked solution with its time and space complexity. It reads multiple-choice questions off the screen and suggests answers. And it transcribes interviewer audio through a virtual loopback device so it can suggest spoken answers in real time. Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, C# and SQL are supported.

We are explicit about the limits, because a tool in this category attracts claims that cannot be kept. Display exclusion depends on your Windows build and graphics driver. It does nothing about a second camera, a proctored room scan, or endpoint monitoring on a managed device. We publish the mechanism on our security page so you can test it yourself rather than take our word for it.

    Built for Indian engineers first

Most tools in this space are priced in dollars, bill monthly through Stripe, and regularly decline Indian debit cards. For a final-year student sitting a campus placement drive, a $30/month subscription is not a purchase decision, it is a non-starter. AutoCoder is priced in rupees from ₹399, takes UPI through Razorpay, and sells fixed-length plans rather than auto-renewing subscriptions.

That focus shapes the product too. We maintain guides to the campus assessment formats that actually matter here — TCS NQT on iON, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro Elite NLTH, Cognizant GenC, Capgemini, Zoho — because the input formats and marking rules on those portals differ from LeetCode and HackerRank in ways that cost candidates real time.
